Windows 10: Windows recycle bin contains files from other Sharepoint user

Dear All,


we use Sharepoint at our company, synced files structure at each equipment.

Recently detected problem: In my Windows Recycle bin there are some files that I haven't deleted but my college did from synced Sharepoint folder. It works the same for all my colleges' equipments, we all see items that someone else deleted from Sharepoint. At least we see deleted files only from folders where we have user rights - but still very confusing.

Is it possible to seperate Windows Recycle bin from Sharepoint synced folders?

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

Recycle Bin refuses to delete files for user

Hello,

I am troubleshooting an issue for a user where they receive an error message whenever they try to delete a file. The message states that recycle bin is unable to recycle the file, would you like to permanently delete it? This is occurring on files of all
types and sizes and the Recycle Bin has been emptied. I have run the rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin command and
SFC /scannow with no results. User is running Windows 10 and this issue only occurs on this particular user's profile. Any suggestions?

  Right-click desktop and personalize.
  
• 
  Choose Themes.
  
• 
  Desktop Icon Settings.
  
• 
  Check the "recycle bin" box.
  
  
  

If that doesn't help I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows Key + R and type "gpedit.msc".
  
• 
  Navigate to User Configuration" - "Administrative Templates" - "Desktop".
  
• 
  In the right pane Double-click "Remove Recycle Bin icon from desktop".
  
• 
  Check if it is enabled/disabled. If it is enable I suggest you to disable it and check if it helps.
