    Windows registers random left clicks as right clicks


    I have windows 10 and have been using my ZOWIE EC1-A for about 5-6 years with out a single problem the mouse works fine on my other computer. I was using my desktop business as usual nothing new installed for the past 2 weeks doing the same things. And randomly today my left clicks started to register as right clicks not every single one but every 3rd or sometimes a couple in a row very random. I tried restarting my pc, uninstalling the drivers and restarting, checking and unchecking the box for "automatically move the pointer to the default button...", i did a system file health check with

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

    Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
    Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
    Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

    NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
    But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.

    Random Left Clicks

    Hi,

    Corrupted touchpad driver is one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We suggest uninstalling the driver to see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Double-click Mice and other pointing devices to expand.
    • Right-click the TouchPad driver, then click Properties.
    • Go to the Driver tab.
    • Click Uninstall.
    • Restart your laptop to automatically reinstall the driver.

    Left click not registering

    I suggest you start the trouble-shooting effort with simple left-click actions, e.g. like so:

    • Single click any desktop item. This should highlight the item.
    • Double-click any desktop item. This should open it.
    • Drag any desktop item do a different place, using your mouse. Can you move it?
    Could it be that your mouse buttons are reversed?
