Windows 10: Windows Registry Edit

Earlier I have accidently clicked on a Windows Registry file in file explorer and it said that values and keys were added to my registry. I have not come across any problems so far but I am worried that I have messed up something as the Windows Registry seems very important. Is there anything I should do. Any help would be appreciated.

Trying to disable the Insert key with a Registry edit

Any way to edit the registry without loading Windows?

You will need to find a way to grant yourself permissions for full control of that hive/key.
Just as the "Trusted Installer" has.
You may have to log on as admin to do this.

I did it a long time ago, to get rid of & edit some hives, keys, etc.
