Windows 10: windows reinstallation question

So lve just gotten off the phone with a friend of mine l help out when they have computer issues whom has a strange issue with one of those laptops with a pitiful hard drive in it.

from what it seems (at least from the video chat we had) is that its going to be a reinstallation job as it cant seem to find applications, certain menus crash when trying to access things like chkdsk (the options just wont work), the main issue however is it has 32gb space but somehow only has 45meg space left which does somewhat explain why there are issues but given all the space is taken up in system reserved something is amiss because other than that there is only 4gb of games and no other data.

suffice to say while l will attempt to see where the data is being used lm likely to reinstall and hope that the USB works outside of windows (as it doesnt within which lm putting down to lack of space to do anything).

in any case a while back l created usb installation media using this l think it uses windows 10 S (at least from what l saw through the camera on video chat) but the main question is while when l last used this l created the media on both the source and destination it was to be installed on, this time l will have to create the media on my laptop in order to install on a different laptop which at this moment is pretty much unusable with many admin options non-working, so the point is l may not be able to access the product key. will the media l linked automatically still see the key even if l created the media on a different laptop? that is if lm unable to do anything within windows to get it working.

Reinstall System Image Question

Reinstall System Image Question –
When saving a system image in Windows 10, it saves it as “Windows Image Backup.” I then add the date to the listing and save it. Therefore, I have a list of backups that read like “Windows Image Backup 9-4-19.”
So, this is my question.
If I need to reinstall my system image, does Windows allow me to choose any of the backups in my list to reinstall?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
