Windows 10: Windows related tasks freez but every other task runs fine

So I've lately run into a problem that windows related tasks like the task manager, my toolbar or the windows explorer will just freez after 2-3 hours of the system running. All other aplications are mostly fine, but I cant restart my PC when it freezes, other than with the powerbutton, since I cant use the restart icon.I've reset windows and also installed the newest grapics driver, but the problem reuccurs.In the event log there also seems to be no error or warning related to this issue. And I've figured if it would be my PC overheating all other tasks would also fail and not just windows re

Window's Task Scheduler Not Running

Task to auto update windows defender definitions disappears

My mom has a new laptop with windows 8.1, we always set the windows updates to manual.
On our other windows 8.1 computers I have created a task for auto updating windows defender definitions, which works fine for us.

This is how I created this task:

"Click on "Create Task", name it what you like (mine is Daily Signature Update), set the trigger as the time you want it to run every day.

For Action browse to Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe and select it. In "Add arguments" add -SignatureUpdate -MMPC"

But somehow this task disappears once it has run on my mom's laptop.
I'm logged in as admin and then I also tried it with running the task scheduler as admin, the task just disappears every day for some reason, while it works fine on our other windows 8.1 computers.

Anyone an idea why this task disappears every time?

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
