  1. Windows Remove a Misspelt Word Misspelling from Personal Dictionary Inking & typing...

Hi guysI can seem to find a way to remove a misspelling / misspelled word from my 'personal dictionary' in Windows 10. In Window 10 setting Inking & typing personalisation I have the 'getting to know you' setting turned on and I can tap / click on 'View your personal dictionary' however I can only view the words here, not remove any misspellings. I have a few misspelt words which keep getting added as Autocorrected suggestions and I need to remove all the common misspellings from this dictionary, I just can't find out how to do it?Any suggestions welcome :ThanksNick

    :)

  2. Remove custom word from dictionary

I don't know if you found a solution, but I had this problem recently and entered

    this solution
into another thread with the same problem.

Option to remove a word from user dictionary (Mobile): We learn from your typing on the phone and build up a local user dictionary that adapts the keyboard prediction, autocorrection and shape writing experiences to your language style.
Sometimes you may type a misspelled word and send it as is, sometimes you may tap on a red squiggled word and then tap the “+” sign by accident. Both save the unwanted word into your user dictionary, and it may appear when you type something similar in the
future. Now you have a way to manually remove bad entries: tap on the word you don’t like in the text box, and you will see a candidate that is the word with a “-“ sign before it. Tapping on that candidate will remove the word completely from your user dictionary
    and no longer suggest it.

  3. In Inking & Typing Personalization how do I edit the personal dictionary?

Hello, I am an independent consultant willing to help.

    Thanks for posting your query.

Open the Custom Dictionaries dialog box:

    1 Open the correction options:

-In most of the Office programs: Click File> Options> Review.

-In Outlook: Click File> Options> Mail> Spelling and AutoCorrect> Review.

-In InfoPath: Click Start> Spelling> Check spelling options.

2 Check that the Solo box in the main dictionary is off.

    3 Click Custom Dictionaries.

Add, edit or delete words in a custom dictionary

Open the Custom Dictionaries dialog by following the steps in the previous section Open the Custom Dictionaries dialog box:

1 Select the dictionary you want to modify. Make sure you do not deactivate the box.

    2 Click Edit word list.

3 Follow one of these procedures:

4 To add a word, type it in the Words box, and then click Add.

    - To remove a word, select it in the Dictionary box, and then click Delete.

    - To modify a word, delete it and then add it as you wish.

    - To remove all the words, click Delete all.

I hope this information solves your problem.
