    Hi,My laptop encountered a sudden shutdown and then it was able to boot. When I use it and turn off its power supply. After then, it wasn't able to boot. I was able to login to safe mode to perform chkdsk /r and it started the fixing process. Now it is stuck at 99% ETA: 00:00 for hours. What could I do to proceed and fix my laptop unable to boot problem

    My pc (Lenovo) was very slow for week espicially today, I decided to restart it and then start fixing then it stuck at this stage:

    It took 12 hours and I am still waiting.

    My PC was running very slowly and I was unable to really get to a regular power off so I had to do a manual shut down. When I turned the computer back on I was greeted with the automatic disk check and repair. I'm currently at the state of the title fixing

Is this a hanging loop or should I wait for it to try to work itself out? What would be my next steps in order to proceed if this doesn't complete?
