Windows 10: Windows requires PIN to connect my Xbox wireless controller!

Windows requires PIN to connect my Xbox wireless controller! Yesterday I tried to connect my controller but it was asking again for a PIN. I bought my controller from other person so I can`t see the PIN of the controller which I think is in the box of the controller when you buy it. I used USB and it connected but I don`t want to use my wireless controller with USB. I also updated drivers, updated my windows and i still have the problem.... Please help me!

You will be asked for a PIN when connecting your wireless Xbox One controller via Bluetooth on Windows 10 if your Bluetooth drivers are not updated. It is also possible that you have to reset the controller to remove the PIN. To resolve your concern, restart
your controller by following the steps below:

• Power off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button on the controller for 6 seconds.
• Press the Xbox button again to power it back on.
• Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller to your PC using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

Wireless Xbox One controller requires PIN for Windows 10.

I cant connect my xbox wireless controller to my PC with Bluetooth because Windows 10 requires a PIN.

The controller is discovered by Bluetooth under add new device and it recognizes that it is an Xbox Wireless Controller. However when I hit the connect button it asks for a PIN without the option to not use one. As far as I know the Xbox Controller does
not have a PIN. Currently the official xbox troubleshoot guide says to connect with USB. Not only do I not want to use a wire for my wireless controller but I never received one with it.





Please note that this is not an issue with the controller. It connects to a Xbox console and MacBook without any issues. I just cant connect to Windows 10. What I am looking for is a PIN that works, a way to remove the PIN requirement, or some other fix
that doesn't involve buying something else as a work around.

If I understand this thread correctly, 271 people have this problem and 1 person was helped by the suggested solutions? The box for the Xbox Wireless Controller reads, "Bluetooth use requires Windows 10. For use without Bluetooth on Windows 7, 8.1, or
10, a USB cable or Xbox wireless adapter is required (each sold separately)". I have a new Windows 10 installation on a new build with all latest drivers. Everything else works flawlessly. It seems a simple thing for Microsoft - maker of both Xbox controller
and Windows 10 - to either provide the PIN or remove the need for it. Any suggestion to use a cable or wireless adapter instead of being able to use the advertised Bluetooth with Windows 10 is neither reasonable nor helpful. My Xbox controller is going back
to the store tomorrow.
