    Windows reset done, where did some files go?


    Windows reset while leaving files alone was supposed to leave files alone but I think it left out "leaves file alone in document folder only" because some of the files that were stored elsewhere is missing.

    I had to do a reset because something was blocking updates and causing errors when I tried to roll back some older updates, I figured something got corrupted. The reset also removed all existing programs installed. So I am wondering, where did Windows move all the programs and some files not stored in document to?

    Example: World of Warcraft screenshot folder were stored by default with the program in Program Files folder. Eagle CAD were stored in Eagle folder on root level of C drive.

    I had backup of Eagle files but I wanted those WoW screenshots since those weren't backed up and some pictures had hilarious moments. It's not the end of the world if those pictures are lost forever.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
