Windows 10: Windows Reset Failure

Hello I was having trouble with my computer running the latest 2004 version update. I have been getting BSOD with error messages: Cant find file or USB storage device is missing for Windows to load.


I power off and in a try or two it starts loads and I can log in. Open any program or browser like nothing happened ??


I just tried to Completely Reset this computer, everything on it. It went through the whole process only to post a message it had failed and nothing was changed.


What happens at start up is it takes much longer and it allows me to enter my pin. Then from there it will say welcome and show the juggling balls for 2 minutes. Then lets me in.


Or it just spins for hours till I power it off and try to log back in. As if it is stuck in a loop. Or like the dialog message said there is a corrupts or missing file is the start up.


If I cannot reset this machine with Windows own Recovery tools ?? What can I do any suggestions??


I am using it right know but tomorrow morning when I try to start it. It might take 30 minutes to an hour to finally go passed me entering my pin on the welcome page.


If I can`t reset do I need to replace the hard drive ?? Any help greatly appreciated!!

To help you with your concern regarding the reset failure, let me suggest you to do a startup repair. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key
• Hold Shift key then click Restart
• You'll be prompted to the Advance Startup Options
• Select Troubleshoot
• Advanced options
• Startup repair

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
