  1. Windows restart

A few days ago I repaired my asus gaming laptop. When I got it back, there was anew motherboard and my CPU was replaced. It went from an AMD ryzen 5 to and intel i5 9th gen. When I first got it back, the blue screen of death stating that my pc ran into a problem and needs to restart was there. I looked up ways on how to fix this but after doing it a few times, I was just put back to square one. After a few more attempts, the blue screen of death was still there but this time there wasn't a "restart" option nor was their an advanced options section. After a few seconds on that screen, it would restart automatically but I don't think it restarted correctly. It went to the opening screen and went straight back to the BSOD. It's been like this for about a day now and after trying various ways through the BIOS, it is still the same thing. What should I do now?

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Windows restart :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
