Windows 10: Windows restarts when waking from sleep? dmp files bugcheck code 9f

Hello everyone,I'm using a laptop with a dedicated 3060 laptop gpu, and running an external display off of it as my main and only display. Within the past 24 hours, upon trying to wake my laptop from idle not sleep, it either went unresponsive the first time, or restarted on its own subsequent two times. I have attached the dmp files along with their analysis below. I would really appreciate it if anyone could advise me on what steps to take next.Thanks in advance.DMP files and analysis

Thank you for posting your reply. Apologize for the delay in response.

I suggest you to check which devices are configured to wake up the computer from sleep by following the steps below:

• Right click on Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command line below:

Powercfg /devicequery wake_armed

3. Check if the devices (Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet cable) are listed.

If the system is not going to sleep and going to Hybernate, the only option to wake up is to press the Power button.

Bugcheck code 278. Restart when waking from sleep.

We appreciate the update, Fred. Bugcheck code 278 indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed. It is possible that the display driver cannot load properly after waking up. The difference between keystroke
vs. waking via a Task Scheduler trigger is because there are
different sleep states and the computer might be in a different sleep state when waking via a trigger.

Let's continue troubleshooting by disabling fast startup. Here's how:

1. Click Start.
2. In the Search bar, type Power Options, and click
   Power Options from search results.
3. On the left side of the window, click on Choose what the power button does.
4. If needed, click on Change settings that are currently unavailable under
   Define power buttons and turn on password protection.
5. Under Shutdown settings section, uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended)
   check box.

Issues that arise after waking up the PC from sleep mode might have been caused by a software conflict or system file corruption. For us to clarify the issue, we would like to ask these questions:
