Windows 10: Windows rounding while snapping is broken with latest updates

Either add an option to turn off window rounding, or fix window snapping that was broken with recent updates. To be more specific - now the window remains rounded after snapping to any part of the screen and you have to move it a bit to left/right the rounded edges will disappear and then re-snap.

Snap Assist

The Snap Assist allows you to juggle apps, arrange open windows, resize windows by simply dragging and dropping them to the edges of the screen. If you don't want to get a quarter screen snap, you can change the settings of Snap Assist by follow the steps below:

• Open the Settings app
• Click System.
• Click Multitasking.
• You can turn off some of the option of Snap Assist on this window.

If you want to disable Snap Assist, you can turn off Arrange windows automatically by dragging them to the sides or corners of the screen.

Snapping in Windows 10

Yes, It’s possible to have a 1/4 snap in Windows 10.



You should update the Display drivers and graphic drivers from device managers.



Method 1: Update the Device Drivers and graphic drivers on the Computer.



Step 1: Check the Windows updates for any latest driver updates.



Check in Windows updates if any driver updates are available. If so, install the same and check if it helps.



a) Press “Windows Logo” key from the keyboard.

b) Type “Updates” in the search bar and click on “Install optional updates” from the left pane.

c) From the “Windows Update” window, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner, to receive a fresh list of updates and then install all the updates listed there.

If no driver updates are available via Windows Update, then you may install them for all the devices on the computer from the Computer Manufacturer’s website.



Step 2: Update Driver Software from the Manufacturer’s website:



Go to the computer manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 8 drivers available for all the devices on the computer and then install them by following the instructions given in the website.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
