  1. Windows safe reset

Hi I would like to know if a normal pc reset delets everything from the hdd/ssd except windows. I just saw in a newspaper that it was possible to recover some files from a 2nd hand pc. Is there a safe (and easy) way without fire and nuclear destruction of the harddrive to reset windows (including older versions of windows)? Or are there always traces left on the device which can be recovered?

  2. New FF - passwords

    Hi:

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

    • Please report back and let us know the outcome, as it will dictate the next steps.
    • Also: please tell us what AV/AM/firewall programs are you running on this system?

    Thanks,
    MM

  3. Safe mode reset

    Hi Oliver,

It's possible that your device is set to boot in Safe Mode. I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key + R to open Run Dialog box.
    • Type msconfig and hit Enter.
    • Under General tab, choose Normal startup if it's not selected already.
    • Now, go to Boot tab, uncheck the Safe Boot
      option if it is checked.
    • Click OK to save the changes and restart the device to boot in Normal mode.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance, we'll be glad to help you.

    Thank you.
