Windows 10: Windows screen is not properly filling my monitor

My windows screen is not properly filling my monitor, so that the top and left sides of the screen have black bars, and the bottom and right side of the screen are cut off. I have tried changing resolutions, and everything in the Display section of windows settings.The image posted is an example of what it looks like for me, with the black section representing the unused monitor section.If anybody knows anything that could help, that would be awesome!

Monitor does not fill the entire screen - windows 10

I uninstalled the graphic driver and attempted to reinstall an updated graphic driver but my computer will not support the updated graphics. Any other suggestions.

Second monitor screen resolution problem

For us to properly isolate the issue with your second monitor screen resolution, we would like to know the following:

  Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?

Monitor does not fill the entire screen - windows 10

I just installed Windows 10 and my 20" monitor does not fill the entire screen. The Monitor is attached to a laptop.
