Windows 10: Windows Screen Shows White Bar on Taskbar

This issue just randomly comes by most of the time is when I'm just roaming around chrome or when I'm in premier pro editing a video It appears out of nowhere pretty much.


My screen just randomly flickers purple lines and fills the desktop up its a horizontal line then disappears and shows a white line under my taskbar sometimes the purple horizontal line doesn't even pop up and the white bar just appears. I was told to update my graphic's driver and remove my old ones but it didn't solve it also restarting my laptop or shutting it down removes the line, So the line does disappear but only when being restarted, shutdown or when I close my laptop and open the lid.

but different. in my issue the purple line fills the laptop up randomly then disappears and then gives me a white line under my task bar


I don't think its a over heating issue too, The laptop works fine whenever I'm playing Minecraft the white bar never appears or well it has never appeared when ever I'm playing games.


My Laptop Graphics drivers are Invidia GeForce 940MX

And intel Graphics 620 Core I7


Anyone Know the Issue?

This issue could also be related to

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.

taskbar on multiple screens (XP)

Hi, at work we use three screens, with XP installed, on the PC i was using before it had the taskbar on just the left screen and when i maximised a window it would fill whatever screen the window was currently on. The pc i now use, has a task bar stretched across the three screens and when i maximise something it will automatically fill the left screen. Is there a way to change either of these things as i prefer the taskbar on the left screen and to maximise on the screen the window is in. Thanks
