    Windows script host error for .js file keeps popping up.


    Hello all,I keep getting this message. I've gotten this message since I got my desktop over the summer. I've tried Malwarebytes and my own antivirus to make sure that there's no malware on my computer that this error message could be related to. I've also tried uninstalling/reinstalling any applications I could think of that might be responsible for this error message. This is getting really annoying and my only 'fix' that I've found has been to save a text file with the same name as that file. That only works for so long, though. I imagine I probably have to fix it in the registry? I don't kn

    .js pop up

    Since upgrading from win 7 to win 10 I keep getting a pop up asking me how I wish to open .js file. I choose the default (windows script host), it closes and some time later it starts again.

    Any ideas please?

    Windows Script Host which shows "Can not find script file "C:\Users\Public\Libraries\Checks.vbs"." keeps popping out.

    Is there any way to stop it?
