Windows 10: Windows Search Bar didn't work properly

My Windows search bar somehow didn't work properly like its usual. It can't find a lot of my usual used apps, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, OMEN Gaming Hub, Adobe Premiere, etc. So I have to manually search the apps from the Start menu and then open them manually which is time consuming. But somehow I still can find my Google Chrome and some other apps. It never been like this before. I always can find any app that I want to open from my Search bar. I believe this problem happens after I update to the latest Windows 10 update KB5033372, but I am not 100%

I did what you suggested and the indexing seems to be working fine. I can find a newly created file in file explorer, but still nothing in the search bar. I reinstalled Cortana but it didn't help.

I created a new user account and the search bar works properly there.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Restart the Service and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key + R.
  
• 
  Type Services.msc In the search box.
  
• 
  Select Windows Search.
  
• 
  Restart the services and set the service as Automatic.
  

Step 2: Run the
Search and Indexing troubleshooter.

Follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Search and Indexing
  troubleshooter.

Start, search bar and right-click on IE11 all not working

Same problem with start menu, dead. Also search the web and windows bar is dead. Right click on Internet Explorer 11 is dead. Real slow start up. I thank everyone for the suggestions although they didn`t work. Bottom line is, no when to call it quits. Going
back in life seems to be the norm.
