Windows 10: Windows Search Bar Not working on User Profile in VDI

I had an issue with the Windows Search bar, unable to search anything in the Start Menu Search Bar. when I try to search for something it keeps loading and then shows a White Blank space. Can someone help me to resolve this issue asap?I have attached the screenshot for your reference:

User profile missing after upgrade to Windows 10

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

Let’s check if your wife’s profile is showing up by doing the steps below.

• Press “Windows Logo” + “R” keys from the keyboard.
• Type “..” in the search bar and press “Enter”.

Check if you are able to see the user profile. If issue still persist you may try the steps below to find out the files.

• Go to Local disk (C
• Select Windows. Old
• Click on the users> user name

Check if your wife’s user profile and files are present.

This issue might be due to the User profile Services, please follow the below and check.

I suggest you to Check the status of User profile services.

Steps:

• Press Windows + R to open Run command, type
  Services.msc and press Enter.
• Search for User Profile Service, right click on it and
  start the service.
• Also, set the Startup type to
  Automatic.
• Now check if you are able to log-in.

Search Bar/Cortana

From the description, I understand that you are still receiving the pop up notifications, despite having disabled the search functionality in windows 10.

Steps to disable the Search Bar

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• Select "Disable."

However, if the above steps don't work out, perform the below suggested steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Open a CMD window started as Administrator.

Repair corruption: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.

Run this command next: Sfc /scannow

Now run these two commands:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
