Windows 10: Windows Search doesnt stop running after disabling it

So I have had this problem for a long time now. I have been trying to fix this issue for an year and windows search still running and is eating up my ram. I also tried hard reseting my laptop but nothing worked. I also tried the Methods which I found in the microsoft wepsite but it doesnt work for me. Also when I try to close windows search its still popping up everytime in my task manager. Can somebody help me?

If you really don’t use Windows Search much, you can disable indexing completely by turning off the Windows Search service. However, disabling the open file menu is not possible in Windows 10.

To disable the Windows Search, kindly follow these steps:

• Click on Start and search for Services.
• Select Services from the list of results.

• On the right side of the Services window, find the
  Windows Search entry and click it twice.
• In the Startup type drop-down menu, select the
  Disabled option. This will prevent Windows Search from loading the next time you start your computer.
• Click the Stop button to go ahead and stop the Windows Search service now. When the service has stopped, click on
  Apply button.
• Click on OK button, and then restart your computer.

Disable Web Search Results in Windows 10 Start Menu

How do I stop Windows 10/Edge saving all my typed search topics?

Thank you for the response.

Here is how you can stop Microsoft Edge browser from showing you search suggestions in the address bar:

• Press the hotkey Win+R to open the Run dialog. Type
  gpedit.msc in the Run dialog and press Enter. This will open the Group Policy Editor.
• In the Group Policy Editor, expand Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Microsoft Edge
• Double-click on the Stop address bar from showing search suggestions setting in the right-side panel.
• In the settings window, select Disabled and then click OK.

That’s it. The settings apply as soon as you click on the OK button. Now if you open the Microsoft Edge web browser and try typing something in the address bar, then you won’t see any search suggestions. You can obviously revert the setting by following
exactly the same steps and choosing Not Configured or Enabled in the last step and saving the settings.
