Windows 10: Windows search ignoring applications from Windows Store

Hi! My Windows search on fresh Windows installation ignored applications from the Windows store. They are present in the start menu but ignored when searching for them. Some other applications were also not findable by Windows search.SFC check is done.Dism check done.Search troubleshooting is done.Cortana reinstalled.Cortana removed.Indexing checked and rebuilt.The search service is in the auto start and restarted.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and then try to download the applications from the Windows store.

1) Open Command Prompt with administrative privileges.

2) Type following commands one by one:

• net stop wuauserv

• cd\windows

• rename SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bck

• net start wuauserv

For Taskbar issue try to follow the below steps and check if it helps.



1) Type and Open Taskbar and start menu properties from the search box.

2) Make sure that you have unchecked the auto hide the taskbar.
