  1. Windows search is still showing the path of folders of deleted Renamed or deleted user...

I have had installed a SSD to my laptop and the problem is that the person who installed this new SSD changed the permission of security or ownership to SSD from HDD and changed the profile in HDD from "91995" to "main" and copied the data i guess and now in windows search when i search an old folder it shows me the folder in main as well as "91995" and i am unable to open this folder . Plz help me remove all paths of "91995" user profile.

    :)

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink Windows search is still showing the path of folders of deleted Renamed or deleted user... ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
