Windows 10: Windows search, notification tab, different language, and win + v not working

This afternoon while i was working with my laptop i notice that the clipboard is not working win+v. After that i restart my laptop it is still not working so i just ignore it. Now when i tried to use the windows search to search for appliation I notice it is not working. The chinese language is also not working, I can type and sometimes it does give me the word but there is no suggestion to choose the word that I want.Lastly my notification tab is also nt working, it wouldnt want to open.I have tried DISM, SFC and also CHKDSK. Last week i have an issue where the windows setting could not be

Using original Win 7 Key with different installation language

Good and bad news!!!

The good: i've found the language packs (unsure if the English one is the same as the one in Windows Updates, but i think so). There are many other languages for both x86 and x64 systems.

The bad: it's not in CAB file so i can't add it to the Windows 7 Installation.


@ least, it's a step in the right direction.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Please let Cortana works with Windows display language different from Speech language and Country

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to check the language and speech settings in Cortana and you’ll be able to her speech in Italian.

• Press Windows + I keys on the keyboard to open settings menu.
• Click on Time and language and select region and language.
  
• Under Language option, check which language is Set as default.
  
• If you find different language, you can change it by clicking on Add a language option.
  
• Select your preferred language (Italian) and click on
  Set as default under Italiano language.
• Now, click on Italian and click on Options.
• Download the language, handwriting and speech packs.
• Now, click on Speech from the Time and language settings menu.
• Check if you are able to select the speech settings to Italian.
• After performing above steps, check if you are able to use Cortana.
