Windows 10: Windows secreen is going behind task bar

The window area should start above top edge of the Task bar .... and it ude to do this.However it has now changed such that window is a little larger than it should be, which results in bottom portion being below the task bar.It is a pain as you cant grab right hand corner of the window to resize ... it I click Maximise button top right corner .... the window is all within the correct area, but not when you try to have multiple screens.I know I can set to 'auto hide' task bar, but find that clunky.Pic attached

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

Windows 10 Defender - How to make it default to task bar?

Using Windows 10 and currently I am using Defender for anti virus. For whatever reason Windows Defender does not show up in the task bar unless I search for the program or right click and scan a file/folder. Is there a way to force Defender to show up in the task bar at start up?

 

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
