Windows 10: WINDOWS SECUIRTY PIN/PASSWORD

Hi. Recently, Windows has had this feature where you must key in your password on Google to access a certain website or webpage rather than just having Google fill in the password for that website. However, I can't key in my password to access the webpage. It's like my keyboard doesn't work, but it's working fine. Just the Windows security pop-up box won't let me type anything. What should I do?

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

Have PIN for Windows 10 but need Windows password

To set up a PIN on your Windows account, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Type the word pin in the search box and select
  Set up PIN sign-in.

  Under the PIN section, click the
  Add button.
  
• 
  Enter the password for your user account, then click the
  OK button.
  
• 
  Follow the instructions on the screen.

• Click Start menu and go to Settings.
• In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
• Click on Sign-in options.
• Change both your password and pin one by one.
