Windows 10: Windows security action recommended. "You'll need a new app to open this windows defender...

Hey friends! I use to love windows security in windows 10, but now that my computer updated to windows 11, it seems to have left me without windows security! Whenever I click my tray icon for windows security it tells me action is recommended. When I right click on it then select any option, for ex: view security dashboard, it brings up a box to look for it in the Microsoft store. the box then says "You'll need a new app to open this windows defender link" and then if I were to entertain that, it brings me to the Microsoft store and tells me no results for 'windowsdefender' was found. Windows Defender, Actions recommended

For two days now I've had the actions recommended on windows defender highlighted. Everything is green in the security details, and I am given no suggestions on what to do to get rid of it. What do I do?

Windows Defender shows actions recommended but no actions listed when I click it, it shows a exclamation mark inside yellow triangle, but security dashboard is all green. Not sure why Windows defender keeps showing yellow exclamation when there is nothing
to worry about regarding security.

Any help to identify the issue appreciated, or if someone confirms it's a bug then happy to ignore it till its fixed.

This seems very promising. Microsoft is in the unique position to know what Windows should look like, even before Windows Update pushes out new changes. As long as MS can properly sync WD with WU changes AND this new features does not make any "noticeable" hit on system performance/resources, all without any false positives, this should be a big step forward for consumer security, and a blow to the bad guys - always a good thing.

Of course, there will likely be some hiccups the Windows/Microsoft/Windows Defender bashers will surely pounce on - regardless how extensive the Beta process is. But hopefully open and unbiased minds will prevail. After all, the goal is to stop the bad guys and if this gets us closer to that, that's a very good thing.
