Windows 10: Windows Security App in Windows 11 S Mode. Under Account Protection, Dynamic Lock problem.

I have not had account protection through the Windows Security App since I purchased and set up this new laptop in February, 2023. In the Windows Security App on the Home page, Security at a Glance I have a red alert error. The error is "Dynamic Lock is not working because Bluetooth is off".When I turn Bluetooth on in the Windows Settings App, then go to Accounts, then to Sign-In Options, then to Dynamic Lock. I get this "Dynamic Lock is not working because your PC has no paired phone. Go to Bluetooth & other devices to pair a phone."Back to Windows Security App on the Home page, Secur

Changing dynamic lock device on windows 10

Hi Caseh please try this:

Open the Settings App

Go to Accounts - Sign-In Options - Dynamic Lock

From there, click 'Bluetooth and Other Devices'

Remove your old Phone form the list of available devices

Then go back to Dynamic Lock and you should be able to Add a Device form there . . .

 

(Windows Security) Account Protection Notifications turning itself off

Hi!

Summary
I am running Windows 21H1 Pro with 2021-08 Cumulative Updates installed on two machines.
On both I log in with my Microsoft Account.
The Account protection notifications from Windows Security is turning itself off.
Is anyone having the same problem as me?

Presentation
Hidden inside Windows Security, under Virus & threat protection tab, there is a link to open Virus & threat protection settings page, which in turn shows a link to Notifications page. On Notifications page itself there is an Account protection notifications with a slider (on/off) button for Get account protection notifications and square check boxes for Problems with Windows Hello and Problems with Dynamic lock.

Scenario
I turn on Get account protection notification and close Windows Security. When I reopen Windows Security the option is once again turned off. This happens on both machines.
