    Windows Security app problems & more on freshly installed 1909


    I have recently performed a clean install of Windows 10 Home v1909 due to incompatibility issues with certain non-Microsoft apps on v2004 and v20H2. However, it has caused problems with the Windows Security app. The app icon in the start menu shows a black icon on a blue tile, with the app name "Cannot open this app". Furthermore, when opening it, all the side tabs have been replaced with garbage text along the lines of "To use Windows Hello, please sign in" and much much more.


    How do I fix this issue without having to reinstall Windows 10 again? Thanks

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Windows 7 Ultimate (64) Security updates not installing.

    I have been having problems in installing the updates that I have listed below. For each update I attempted to install them individually but they would not install. I also downloaded the SURT 6.1 KB947821 v27. The problem has been going on now for about 2 months. (whenever the issue with the updates comes to mind I am never near my pc). Thank you in advance.

    Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

    Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

    Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
