    Windows security: Device security Problem


    I tried everything, even tried to restart my devices over tons of times but it didn't resolve my problem. From the past few days, this problem remained. The section of Windows security called Device security shows me, 'Local Security Protection is off. Your device may be venerable'. I took this matter into my hands and tried to solve this by going into detail, but the problem remains the same as it is before. There's nothing inside the 'Core isolation' that helps me out. Everything Memory integrity, memory access protection and Microsoft venerable driver This is inaccessible, but turned on

    Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

    I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

    suggest best internet security/antivirus for windows 7

    Hello,

    I m using HP envy 3090nr laptop having windows 7 home premium.

    I was using norton internet security previously which was very good, no virus problem so far.

    But i want to know any other internet security which is better or similar and free?

    Give your suggestions for best free as well as best paid internet security.

    Also give your opinion for microsoft security essentials.

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?
