  1. Windows security emails are in Chinese

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the language in which Windows Security sends you emails? Whenever I get an email from Windows Security, it is written largely in Chinese characters. I would assume that these emails are phishing attempts that don't actually come from Microsoft except that some arrive in response to my requesting a code, and the codes they contain are valid. So these are definitely from Microsoft. My language is set to English and always has been, I believe, though my account was briefly hacked several years ago by someone in Huawei. In any case, I can't figure out any way to change my language preferences for Windows Security. Every mention of language I can find already says "English."

There was a mention of this problem on the Microsoft forum several years ago, but the solution recommended involved a now-defunct Windows Live offering. I'd appreciate a current solution.

    Thanks!

    :)

  2. Driven by Chinese PUBG Players, Windows 7 Now Most Popular OS on Steam

Fair enough and props to you. You and I along with anyone else who understands how to properly secure Windows 10, and Windows in general, are definitely in a minority. A growing minority, but still. I'd say this is the reason the chinese public are dubious of Windows 10.
