Windows 10: windows security google pin

sometime in the last week this has started on my home pc but not my work pc. so i am thoroughly confused as to 1why it started and 2 how to stop it.First i have no pin set up and every solution i find on google the machine asks for my pin.i have tried the following going to windows hello sign in. already turned of. going to google to turn of there it requires the same damn pin that i do not have cause i never set one up. even the solution windows employees have suggested do not work cause everytime i try them it asks for that god damn pin. i have even tried to sign in with other options but

Windows Security Google Chrome Pop-Up

I keep getting a pop-up from Windows Security when I'm using Google Chrome and I'm signing into a website. I click on the username/password section and Google suggests my saved passwords. But when I click on it to use it, I get a pop-up from Windows Security asking me to enter my PIN for verification.

For some reason the website won't let me upload my screenshot (15KB) here.

Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

• What is the make and model of the computer? If you are using a Desktop, please help us with the make and model of the keyboard.
  
• Have you enabled PIN to sign in to the computer? If yes, are you facing any issues with PIN sign in?
  

In the meantime, you can follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:



I suggest you to check if the NUM lock key is on or not. If not, please press it to turn on NUM lock and try entering the PIN.



Method 1: Using On-Screen keyboard.



You can try using the On-Screen keyboard and see if the issue persists. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type osk and click on OK.
   
3. Once opened, please use it to type the PIN.
   

Method 2: Disable PIN.



I suggest you to disable PIN set up and then check if the issue persists. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Account.
   
3. Click on Sign-in options.
   
4. Under PIN, click on Remove.
   
5. Enter the password to confirm that you want to remove the
   PIN.
