Windows 10: Windows Security is blocking visual studio 2022 when I run my code. Can someone help?

When I downloaded visual studio 2022 I could write and open my files to studio but when it came to run the file debug it said "Access denied". Then I searched the internet and it said to disable something in virus & treat protection tab but I cant because when I search virus & treat protection and open it it says "page not available". So I am stuck in a loop hole because I don't want to turn off my windows security but I want so that visual studio would work. Has someone had this issue? Are there any suggestions?
