    Split from this thread.my windows security is not opening its dash board or sacming anyb files i just got upgraded from windows 10 ,and my cursor is going wild i think itrs a virus from a file in downladed but the , windows is not detecting ithelp me with this

    Please confirm you don't have a list like this:

    e.g. from here (or via the control panel):

    If not, suggests deeper problems. To which uninstall option are you referring? (A picture is worth...)

    Questions:

    1) Where can I find a list of files included in latest (quick) scan.?

    2) Where can I find a list of file type default not included in a scanning?

    3) Where can I find the list of disks included in the next scanning?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
