Windows 10: Windows Security Issue: Missing 'windowsdefender' in Windows 11 24H2 26100.863

I'm encountering an issue with Windows Security on my Windows 11 machine version 24H2, build 26100.863. When I try to access Windows Security through the Start menu or system tray icon, I can't find the usual 'windowsdefender' option.Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'm concerned that my antivirus protection might be disabled.Here are some additional details that might be helpful:- I haven't made any recent changes to my security settings.- I've tried restarting my computer, but the issue persists.- I've run a system scan using another antivirus program, and no threats were detect

Availability of Windows 11 Version 24H2 Build 26100.863 on All PCs

June 15, 2024—KB5039239 (OS Build 26100.863) - Microsoft Support This means the release link for Windows 11 version 24H2 which is public on all PCs.

 

Will 24H2 Only Be Available to Copilot+ PCs?

In the on-going drama surrounding the next version of Windows, i.e., Windows 11 24H2 - which has not been released to the public - the latest news from Microsoft is that 24H2 will only be available to Copilot+ PCs.

But does this mean it will only be available to Copilot+ PCs in the Release Previews Channel (for testing by Windows Insiders) or only available to Copilot+ PCs period?



It doesn't make sense (to me) that Microsoft would split its Windows 11 customers into two groups: those with Copilot+ PCs and those without. Or maybe this is Microsoft's way to, how shall I say, persuade customers toward Copilot+ PCs.



And no, Recall will not be included in the new version of Windows.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
