Windows 10: Windows security issue

Recently I needed to change some settings on my Defender. I try to get to it from the Settings>updates and security>Windows security, and then I came to security at a glance [means I can't do anything!]. I follow the guidance I got from people and I change my settings in Services/registry from disable to automatic/manual, and then I got "error 1058 the service cannot be started" !!Anything else I tried didn't work, anyone can help me please ?!

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.
