Windows 10: Windows Security message can't be fixed

Discus and support Windows Security message can't be fixed in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Hi! I keep getting told that Windows Security has an issue, that Firmware Protection is disabled. I'd love to enable it but can't seem to - the one...     Windows Security message can't be fixed


    Hi! I keep getting told that Windows Security has an issue, that Firmware Protection is disabled. I'd love to enable it but can't seem to - the one place that I could do something about it, nothing happens when I click on Enable - it just goes back top the Core Isolation page. Not to mention that it just doesn't look right. See the pic below.Help? Thanks!

    windows security not opening

    Your device is infected. Step 1 removes the infection and Step 2 fixes Defender.

    Step 1:

    • Download fixlist.txt
    • Make sure FRST64.exe and FixList.txt are in the same folder.
    • Launch FRST64.exe and click "Fix".
    • Upload the output log file (FixLog.txt) to your OneDrive.
    Step 2:

    Please complete the steps listed under the section "Step 2: Repair/Restore the Windows Defender Service" in this article. Note: you need to import the REG file using TrustedInstaller privileges, as described in the article.

    Restart Windows.

    Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?
