Windows 10: Windows Security not able to complete scans

Windows Security, and other applications, crash the system, sometimes to a Blue Screen of Death. Event Viewer lists the following as Error:Unable to start a DCOM Server: MicrosoftWindows.Client.WebExperience_423.5900.0.0_x64__cw5n1h2txyewy!WindowsUdk.UI.Shell.Dashboard.DashboardExtension as Unavailable/Unavailable. The error:"2147942402"Happened while starting this command:"C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\MicrosoftWindows.Client.WebExperience_423.5900.0.0_x64__cw5n1h2txyewy\Dashboard\Widgets.exe" -ServerName:Microsoft

If not, suggests deeper problems. To which uninstall option are you referring? (A picture is worth...)

Yes that's exactly what I have. If you notice there is an uninstall option next to organize if you scroll to other updates ie. office, but it will disappear once you scroll to the latest updates.

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
