Windows 10: Windows Security Not Working/ Staying Blank

I have been having a problem with Windows Security , here's the story. After resetting my computer due to thinking that it was infected , Windows Security didn't seem to want to function. I have tried PowerShell , command prompts , everything. Please tell me what to do. What I was thinking was redownloading another version of windows 11 from the cloud.

Windows Defender Security Center Won't Stay Open

Thanks @Hydrate! Followed Step 3 of Option 2 and rebooted ... problem solved!

I'll keep an eye on it for the next couple of days and if all stays good, I will mark this thread closed.

 

Windows Security is a blank screen with a shield

I see a blank window with a blue shield when I open Windows Security. The window stays that way for about 30 secs before closing. When I open Windows Security, I expect security-related options instead of a blank window. How can I get Windows Security to work?

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.
