Windows 10: Windows Security notification keeps appearing every time PC is turned on

    Windows Security notification keeps appearing every time PC is turned on


    Every time I turn on my PC, a notification from Windows Security appears saying "Turn on virus protection". Simply clicking on it makes it disappear for the session, but after I shut down and turn back on, it appears again.     Any way to make it stop?

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

    "Windows Security Center" keeps turning off after turning on PC.

    Hello! My name is Rafi and I'm from Indonesia. I've had a problem with my Windows 10 laptop this time.

    Every time I turn my PC on or after restarting it, I've always receive a notification: "Turn On Windows Security Center". I've had go to Service and I'd see that "Security Center" is disabled. I've enabled to automatic and I've start the service and I immediately
    restart my laptop. But after restarting, the notification: "Turn On Windows Security Center" still appear and in the service I found it disabled. I know this is just a small problem but please give me solutions.

    Windows keeps turning off the security center.

    Hi Maninder,

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key + R and type Services.msc then hit enter.
    • Services Console will appear.
    • Find Security Center Service on the right details pane > right click it choose properties >
    • Security Center Properties should appear > on the General Tab
    set start-up type to automatic (Delayed start)

    • On service Status Stop and then Start.

    If this does not works & error still continues then there are more chances that your system is infected

    Let us know the status of the issue in regards with Security Center. Your reply is important to assist you further.
