Discus and support Windows security, physical security key in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I am locked out of Facebook. Facebook required me to have two factor authentication, so I bought a security key. I used it a few times and it worked...     I am locked out of Facebook. Facebook required me to have two factor authentication, so I bought a security key. I used it a few times and it worked fine, but now before I can get to the Facebook admit, thing, I get another obstacle on top of it which reads:Windows Security--Making sure it's you--Please sign into Facebook.com--This request comes from chrome published by Google LLC. Please enter your security key PIN.I have no security key PIN because my security key is one that requires a tap on it after it is inserted into a USB port, so I am stuck. Please help me, I am a 78 year old dis

    Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

    Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

    I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

    That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

    SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.
