Windows 10: Windows security pop-up popping up but not working

When I click on a wi-fi network to connect to it, a pop-up of Windows security appears on the screen, but I am not able to click on it to insert user name nor password. If I click anywhere on the pop-up, nothing happens. The pop-up just stay there and I can't close it. §From task manager, I can close the process CredentialUIbroker.exe but it restarts again.The only thing I can do is restart the computer BUT the problem comes back when I try to connect to wi-fi.I have updated the OS to Windows 24H2 version.

Pop up blocker not working

I did what you suggested but no luck - I still get the annoying pop ups. Its nothing to do with the security settings, the blocker does not work I cannot get into it to check the blocked list etc. Maybe IE should investigate.

Windows Security sign in pop up

Since you are still getting this pop up window, the next suggestion we have is to reset the network. Kindly refer to the steps below:

• Click on Start.
• Go to Settings.
• Select Network & Internet.
• On the Status tab, click on Network reset.

Doing this will make Windows forget the connection credentials and other networking components. You may have to re-enter you WiFi credentials if you will attempt to connect to your home network.
