This is occurring on two computers fully updated Windows 10 and fully updated Windows 11 both using the most recent version of Box Drive and both sharing a number of folders through Box Drive. When Box Drive is exchanging files, Windows reports a new instance of the trojan several times a minute see example screen capture attached. If I close Box Drive or disconnect the computer from the internet, Windows Security stops reporting new instances of the trojan. So, an obvious question is whether Windows Security is misidentifying Box Drive cache files as trojans. Another obvious p

    Windows folder security.

Is there a way to disable ALL windows security on folders? I'm using Windows 7 and trying to replace some system files that may be currupt and I get the "You need permission..." bitching from Windows. I know I can take ownership of the folder through the security tab but it's getting REALLY old having to do this for each and every file and folder I'm trying to overwrite. *Bang Head :banghead:

I'm the administrator for christ sake. If I want to open my drive and take a crap in it, do I need permission from Microsoft?

  3. Windows Store Cache Problems (Windows 10)

    Hi,

Corrupted Windows Store components are one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. Let's try resetting Windows Store cache as the administrator. Follow the steps below:

    • Type wsreset.exe in the search box.
    • Right-click wsreset, then select Run as Administrator.
    • Complete the process, then open Windows Store to test.
If the issue still persists, we recommend following the suggested steps by
    SpiritX MS MVP
on this thread. Follow the steps 1 to 4 and see if it helps.

Update us with the outcome so we can provide further assistance.
