Windows 10: Windows Security Section Bug under Windows 11

I upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10 on an Acer i5 Desktop this weekend. 4/2/22.When I went to run a scan clicking on ANY item in Windows Security said I needed to get Windows Security Preview from the Microsoft Store. I did so and installed it. Now it still will not allow me to select any Windows Security option like Quick scan, Scan, or History. Windows Security Preview just gives a summary of the results of the last scan. This is terrible. I don't even know for sure if Defender is running!!!I have found several sites with very convoluted instructions to resolve this bug which had occurr

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Why not have a Windows section?

95% of the users runs Windows and has no clue how to troubleshoot. Whatever their question they will post it in the suggested Windows section just because they run Windows, even though it's a hardware issue.
Making an endless amount of subforums clutters, people already fail to post in the right sections and make decent thread titles. If you want the forums to be easier to navigate promote the use of decent thread titles as many of the thread titles say nothing about the topic itself.
So until people are actually capable of using the forums correctly I am against more subforums.
