    windows security settings closing immediately after closing


    Whenever i open windows security, the window instantly closes. i've tried using sfc /scannow, reinstalling windows and checking for malware with Malwarebytes. However none of these solutions seemed to help me. i'm also missing the windows defender service and antimalware service executable not sure if they're the same thing

    Windows Security Dashboard closes immediately

    When I open the Windows Security dashboard, the window starts and then closes immediately, even before being complete. I do not find solutions online.

    Windows 10 Version 10.0.17763 build 17763.

    Settings app closes immediately

    Hello,

    I'm on Windows 10 1809, and since today the app settings can no longer start! Indeed, it starts and then closes immediately.

    I did run "sfc /scannow", it found several corrupted files, but didn't solved my problem.

    Settings | Default Apps closes immediately

    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit: when I attempt to even view default apps under settings, settings immediately closes. Other aspects of settings seem to be OK. How might I fix this?
