Windows 10: Windows Security

Acer, Aspire 5, Windows 11, intel i5There is this "Windows Security" in the hidden icon box. It always has a "green" check mark. When I click on it, a new window opens and all items have status of "no action needed".Sometimes when I click on that icon, items in the opened window have status of "unknown". I have to close the window and rec-click on the icon, all items will now back to "no action needed".However, once in a while, when I click on that "hidden icon", I got a blank screen. The only way to get back a normal screen, I have to shut down my laptop and re-start.Is this normal, or do I h

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.
