Windows 10: Windows Security

Please could Microsoft be more reassuring and encouraging to Customers who must surely be affected by the completely negative comments of Windows Haters and Trolls. Windows Security is now a viable and comprehensive Anti Virus and Malware solution. I have shouted this everywhere but the introduction of Israeli Technology was the turning point . Israel lead the World in the fight against Cyber Attacks . Microsoft recognised this and drew them to the fold a brilliant move. If you like to play all the buttons like third party, Windows Security have that , but really all you need to do each day is Update and Carry On . After the introduction of protection to Folders from Ransomeware Windows is more or less on a Par with third party. Another good move would be to introduce some sort of Online Banking Safeguard , if the Big Boys can do it why not the biggest of them all I am no Psychophant these comments are right from the heart. I would welcome support and opinions on this thanks

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.

Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.
