Hi. I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 with Exchange Server 2016 installed with Exchange2016-KB5019758-x64-en.exe installed. I am attempting to harden the server so that I can install Extended Protection Extended Protection - Microsoft - CSS-Exchange . I followed the article at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/Exchange/exchange-tls-configuration?view=exchserver-2019 and Exchange Server TLS configuration best practices Microsoft Learn to harden the server. I followed the article in the steps it outlines and I notice that once I run the CiperSuitesOrder.reg and reboot, the server blue

Windows Server 2016 R2 TLS 1.2 Cipher Suites

Hello - I have a .Net application that accesses an external website to retrieve data. The external website removed TLS 1.1 support and only supports the following TLS 1.2 cipher suites: TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 The application works fine when being run from Windows Server 2019 or later (including Win10) but is not able to access the external site when being run on Windows Server 2016 R2 or earlier versions. I understand Server 2008 is end of life but Server 2012 R2 should still be supported, I would think. From what I understand, it appears these specific cipher suites are not available for Server 2012 R2. Will they ever be available, or is there some other way to have my application work with the existing available cipher suites?

    Thank You

  4. Windows Server 2012 R2 Exchange 2016 server Blue Screens after disabling TLS/SSL

Does Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016 (and 2019) support Location Sensors

I have an installation of Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2016 (and I am building a Windows Server 2019 too), neither of them seem to support Location Sensors. In Windows Server 2012 R2 there is nothing in Control Panel for Location and other
Sensors and in Windows Server 2016 there appears to be location information in settings but it is disabled and anything trying to use it finds it disabled. My question is does the Windows Server OSes support location sensors at all? If so then how do I add/enable
    this functionality in those platforms?
