Windows 10: Windows server 2019 Datacenter network errors

Hello All,

I created a Windows server 2019 Datacenter edition server in VMware. After adding the server to my Domain, I can not RDP to the server, can not set the time zone, can not remove it from the domain, can not update group policy using the gpupdate /force command.


None of my windows servers 2016 standard has this problem. If I create a Windows server 2019 Standard edition, I don't have this problem.

Hi Gents,

in my organization we have windows server 2016 datacenter

and we activate windows 7 and windows 10 enterprise and bro from windows server 2016 datacenter kms host key,

we need to install windows server 2019 datacenter to activate windows 10 LTSC 2019,

my questions are?:

1- will we lost activation of windows 7 and windows 10 "old laptops"

2- activation of windows 10 LTSC just in windows server 2019 data center KMS ? and not possible in windows server 2016 datacenter?,

3- what is the problems that will face if we upgrade our windows server?

We acquired a license for Windows Server 2019 Datacenter but we need to install Windows Server 2016 Datacenter. What is the procedure to convert the Product Key for activation?

 

Where can I find the patches for datacenter edtion windows server?

Hi MS support,
I have received security alert from my company's Cyber team, said Remote Code Execution Vulnerability detected in my Windows server 2019/2016 datacenter Edtion, I found solution at Security Update Guide - Microsoft Security Response Center
the link has all the versions EXCEPT Datacenter ones. I have tried to install the patch Windows server 2016/2019(not Datacenter edtion), which is not applicable and not able to install.

So please guide me to find the patch for Windows server 2019/2016 datacenter Edtion.
