We have been presented multiple instances since 18/01/2025 by our Win server 2022 error Event 106: Available processor sets of the underlying physical NICs belonging to the LBFO team NIC /DEVICE/{1B97425F-0613-4E0A-A713-28755E0C5E4A} Friendly Name: Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver #2 on switch 298C6388-A786-48D1-A119-6BF7B66990B3 Friendly Name: MEP SERVICE 10GB with failover - Virtual Switch are not configured correctly. Reason: The processor sets overlap when LBFO is configured with sum-queue mode. This issue occurs in one of the Teamed up NICs. We have 2 Teams of NICs

Hyper-V host physical disk not available to VM in Server 2022 and Win 11 arm64

Hi.

I have a problem with Hyper-V in Windows Server 2022 x64 and Windows 11 arm64. In these specific cases, it seems to be impossible to attach physical disks directly to a VM. No other Windows versions or architecture combinations seem to have this issue.

In other cases, it is possible to simply offline the disk in Disk Management and then it is available to select in the physical hard disk dropdown box in VM settings. But not in Windows Server 2022 x64 or Windows 11 arm64. The dropdown box is always grayed out even if there are offline disks.

Am I missing something else here or is this a bug of some sort?

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
