Windows 10: Windows service Package manager, Critic error

HelloI have a continuous error related to Windows service Package Manager I try this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-package-manager-error-message-with/459d7051-a0da-4f0b-a3aa-e91fa36f496b that seems related, but didn't work. Any help is appreciated, it made my pc constantly crash, I don't know how to solve it. I add screenshots of the error.Thanks!

Unable to Connect to Logical Disk Manager Service Error in Computer Management

WELL, I'll be an "S.O.B."! I got it... lol, just now!

Apparently, & I am going to record this & BOOKMARK/FAV it in my webbrowsers as "HOW TO FIX LOGICAL DISK MANAGER HASSLES" (lol), it is SOMETHING in my services!

You need THIS list of them running (provided you have them online that is, some OS won't have SOME of these (this is Windows Server 2003) & some are 3rd party & won't matter):





* NO SAFE MODE REQUIRED - THIS FIXED IT, PURELY SERVICES RELATED... oddly, no "dependencies" other than the ones the services need (RPC & Plug n Play) are listed in the 2 services for Logical Disk Management... it's like MS missed (somehow) the fact that there IS other dependencies on other services than what they list!

That list above is PROBABLY "overkill" & it is only a fraction of that list above, but the point is there... with ALL of those active? Logical Disk Manager "gets its act together" again & works!

P.S.=> BRB, with screenshot of services & their startup status needed for this to work, in case anyone else hits this... it is a real you-know-what if you can't get to a disk to format it, lol... so, recording it for everyone's sake! apk

You may be facing the above issue due to the missing files on your PC.
I suggest you to run SFC scan and DISM scan on your PC by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.



SFC scan is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a
Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected. For example, some Windows functions may not work, or Windows may crash.



Windows corruption errors may prevent Windows updates and service packs from installing. For example, an update might not install if a system file is damaged. The
DISM scan or System Update Readiness tool may help you to fix some Windows corruption errors.



Step 1: Open an Administrator command prompt
window by,

• Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Command Prompt (Admin) option.
• Click on Yes and continue. Provide administrator password if prompted.
• Check if it says Administrator: Command Prompt at the top of the command prompt window.

Step 2: Type the following commands in the
CMD Prompt:



dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow



Step 3: Close the command window and check if the issue is resolved.

Windows package manager error message with 0x80070307 error code on Windows 10.

I just ran DISM and SFC and I am still getting the 0x80070307 Operation Failed error code associated with PkgMgr.exe and cannot run my Sony PC Companion program properly without this installing successfully it seems. What are the next steps?
